Cadillac Side Mirror Puddle Lights
These replace the lens underneath your side mirror with a projector that throws the Cadillac crest onto the ground beside the car. Because they wire into the factory mirror harness, they trigger on unlock exactly like the original puddle lamp — no switch, no app, nothing to remember.
Why Mirror-Mounted Beats Door-Mounted
A mirror sits higher than a door card, so the projection throws further and lands larger. It also runs off the car’s own circuit rather than batteries, which means nothing to replace and no dimming over time. If you want the crest visible from a few paces away rather than just at the sill, this is the version to fit.

The projection is only as good as the lens. A cheap unit gives you a bright blur with soft edges; this one uses an HD lens that holds the crest outline sharp, so the shape reads properly rather than looking like a smudge of light on the tarmac.

Installation
The original lens unclips from the mirror housing and the new unit plugs into the same connector. No cutting of factory wiring and no coding. Allow 20 to 30 minutes per side — the fiddly part is releasing the lens without marking the housing, so work slowly with a plastic trim tool rather than a screwdriver.

Will these fit my Cadillac? +
The sedan fitment covers the ATS 2013-2019, CT4 2020-2024, CT5 2020-2024, and CT6 2016-2024. The SUV fitment covers the Escalade and Escalade ESV 2015-2024. When do they come on? +
They replace the factory puddle lamp and run off the same circuit, so they behave exactly as the original did — on when you unlock the car, on when a door opens, and off on the same timer. Nothing changes about how your courtesy lighting works.
How do these compare to door-mounted logo lights? +

Do I need to cut any wiring? +
No. The original lens unclips and the new unit plugs into the same factory connector. Nothing is spliced, nothing is soldered, and the installation is fully reversible if you keep the original lens.
How difficult is the installation? +
Allow 20 to 30 minutes per side. The wiring itself is plug-and-play; the fiddly part is releasing the original lens from the mirror housing without marking it. Use a plastic trim tool rather than a screwdriver, and work slowly at the clip points. If you would rather not, any auto electrician will do both sides inside an hour.
How visible is the projection? +
Sharpest on dry, dark tarmac at night and in covered parking. Under bright street lighting or in daylight, the image washes out considerably — this is true of every ground projector regardless of brand, because the logo is competing with ambient light. The higher mirror mounting gives a noticeably larger image than a door-mounted unit.
Will they drain my battery? +
No. LED draw is very low, and they only run when the courtesy circuit is live, which is the same behaviour as the factory lamp they replace. There is no standing drain when the car is locked and parked.
Are these genuine GM parts? +
