Cadillac CTS Light Up Emblem Description
This LED emblem replaces the factory crest on the Cadillac CTS with a backlit badge that illuminates whenever your daytime running lights are on. It seats in the original mounting position with no drilling, cutting, or permanent modification, and the sealed ABS housing handles rain, snow, dust and car washes.
Fitment: 2015-2019 CTS and CTS-V
This emblem is cut for the third-generation Cadillac CTS, covering model years 2015 through 2019. The CTS-V shares the same badge mounting as the standard car, so V models are covered by the same fitment with no modification. Earlier CTS generations use a different badge size and mounting pattern and are not supported.
Check for a Radar Sensor First
The front emblem does not fit CTS models with a radar sensor mounted behind the grille badge. Cars equipped with adaptive cruise control or forward collision alert house the radar unit directly behind the crest, and the LED emblem housing will obstruct it. Front and Rear Are Built Differently
- Front emblem: aluminium base for rigidity in the grille aperture. Available in white LED only.
- Rear emblem: plastic base, 171 x 70 mm (6.73 x 2.76 in). Available in white or colour-shift LED.
Colour-shift is offered on the rear badge only. Many owners fit the white front emblem and a colour-shift rear so the crest reads factory-standard from the front and stands out behind.
Finish Options
The crest is available in gloss black, which stays dark until the LED fires and gives the strongest night-time contrast, or silver, which reads closest to the factory finish during the day.

Which CTS years does this fit? +

Does this fit the CTS-V? +
Yes. The CTS-V uses the same badge mounting as the standard CTS across the 2015 to 2019 range, so this emblem fits V models with no modification. Note that most CTS-V cars are equipped with adaptive cruise control, so check for the radar sensor behind the grille badge before ordering the front emblem.
Will this fit if my CTS has adaptive cruise control? +
The front emblem will not fit. CTS models with adaptive cruise control or forward collision alert house a radar sensor directly behind the grille badge, and the LED housing obstructs it. Why is colour-shift only available on the rear emblem? +
The front emblem uses an aluminium base built for the grille aperture, and that construction is produced in white LED only. The rear emblem uses a plastic base with room for the colour-shift controller. If you want colour-shift, it has to be the rear badge.
What size is the rear emblem? +
The rear badge measures 171 x 70 mm (6.73 x 2.76 in). Measure your existing trunk emblem before ordering — badge dimensions changed across CTS generations, and a mismatch will leave visible gaps around the mounting position.
How is the emblem powered? +
The emblem connects to your vehicle’s 12V circuit, normally wired to the daytime running lights or parking lights, so it illuminates automatically whenever those lights are on. Rear emblems can alternatively be wired to the tail light feed. Power draw is low enough that there is no meaningful load on the battery.
Is installation difficult? +
The front emblem is plug-and-play: remove the factory badge, route the harness behind the grille, and connect to the power source. Allow 20 to 30 minutes. The rear emblem takes 40 to 60 minutes because the trunk trim panel must be released to reach the badge studs. No drilling and no cutting of factory wiring in either case.
Is it waterproof? +
Yes. The sealed ABS housing resists rain, snow, dust and standard car washing including automatic washes, and performs in both hot and freezing conditions. Avoid aiming a pressure washer lance directly at the harness grommet from close range.
Can I fit both the front and rear emblems? +
Yes, but they are sold separately — this listing supplies one emblem per order, so place two orders and select Front on one and Rear on the other. If your CTS has adaptive cruise control, order the rear only.
Is this a genuine GM part? +
